The Reload Conference is a ministry of the Womens Ministry Network of the Baptist Union of Southern Africa. This conference was previously known as the Annual Seminar and started as a training event in the 1980’s. The focus of the event this year will be different from previous years in that our focus will be on the participants attending the Conference. We are planning activities that will create an environment that will renew, refresh and restore delegates.
The word Anapauo is the Greek word for the English word Reload. The Thayer and Smith Bible Dictionary define the word as a verb meaning:-
Definition
- to cause or permit one to cease from any movement or labour in order to recover and collect his strength
- to give rest, refresh, to give one's self rest, take rest
- to keep quiet, of calm and patient expectation
Our goal for this conference is exactly that the delegates will leave knowing that they have meet with the Lord and feel spiritually restored.
The theme verse for the conference is Jeremiah 31:25. The verse reads as follows in various translations:-
“I will refresh the weary and satisfy the faint” (NIV)
“For I have given rest to the weary and joy to the sorrowing” (NLT)
“For I will satisfy the weary ones and refresh everyone who languishes.” (NAS)
“For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.” (KJV)
“I’ll provide abundance for those who are weary, and fill all who are faint.” (ISV)
